Delta Wing Chun Academy:

He who hesistates loses. He who dares wins.

Delta Wing Chun is a highly scientific form of martial arts. It’s not a style for robots or a martial art with fancy movements and visual appeal. It is the real situation’s weapon. With Wing Chun, you can fight in a telephone booth – with no taekwondo-style high kicks or over complicated moves.. The students’ arms move like springs, or whips, blocking and attacking at the same time.

Quick results and practice are developed subconsciously according to the moment of combat (fight). It is designed to be used by everyone - man or woman, strong or weak, tall or short, anyone who has the will to learn its magic. Delta Wing Chun has its own authentic beauty. Simplicity, Directness, Efficiency, Economy of motion and the Principle of the “Center-line” make this art unique.

Founded by Sifu Lakis Phillipou in 1988, The Delta Wing Chun Academy now has schools in London, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Los Angeles.
The Delta system is focused on practical street fighting, marrying the theory and scientific nature of Wing Chun with actual real life situations... Unfortunately something that is spoken of in many schools, but rarely practiced.
It’s important to practise a lot, because Wing Chun depends on “muscle memory”, allowing fighters to react instinctively, “so the more you do it, the better you become. The more you sharpen a knife, the better it cuts”. Wing Chun can be a very dangerous art if executed correctly. If you learn it and you master it, it’s like you’ve got a Kalashnikov or Uzi in your hands. It’s a lethal weapon.

"Self-defense is only an illusion, a dark cloak beneath which lurks a razor-sharp dagger waiting to be plunged into the first unwary victim.
Whoever declares that any weapon manufactured today, whether it be a nuclear missle or a .38 special, is created for self-defense should look a little more closely at his own image in the mirror. Either he is a liar or is deceiving himself.
Wing Chun kung fu is a very sophisticated weapon--nothing else. It is a sciense of combat, the intent of which is the total incapacitation of an opponent. It is straightforward, efficient and deadly. If you're looking to learn self-defense, don't study Wing Chun. It would be better for you to master the art of invisibility"
